| We are with dogs since 1977 and has spent a lot of time reading, searching, studying, researching, etc. We mentor, guide and support all our buyers and mostly stay in touch for years. Sometimes we consider a co-ownership on a Neapolitan Mastiff puppy/dog. Our Neapolitan Mastiff puppies range is $2700 - $4500+. The price depends upon the pedigree and quality of the puppy. We exhibit our Mastini for the World Dog Shows and did not come back yet without a trophy. Our Neapolitan Mastiff puppies have been sold to the different countries. From time to time we get requests for the pick of the litter puppy, the premium for this puppy is usually an additional $500-1000. If you are interested in a Neo puppy from us, please, send a request for an application. If you get approved, we require a deposit $500 to reserve your puppy from any upcoming Neo litter. Deposits are not refundable and we do not add anyone to our waiting list without deposits. If we have any dog/puppy available for sale we post info on the sale page. Sorry, we do not have extra time to mentor someone`s buyers, it is always a choice where to buy your Neapolitan Mastiff. Sometimes people ask us for a puppy and if we do not have any at the moment or they found a cheaper one somewhere and bought - for some reason in majority cases people contact us back with 100 questions of "how", "why", "what to do" and other questions required a basic knowledge only and can be found in books and on internet search (just takes time). Sorry, we do not have extra time to write a booklet to each person for each question (we would love to help and answer as we did previously, but too many requests and life time is not endless, we decided to mentor and contribute time only to our buyers and friends). |
Do your research, buy and read books, and ASK YOUR BREEDER - the person whose job and reproduction you did support by buying. It is your breeder`s responsibility to guide and help you with an advice at any point of growing puppy like we do with our buyers. We highly respect your`s and our time. Thank you for understanding. Please, before you jump to buy a Neapolitan Mastiff puppy - do your homework first, take your time (now aka "breeders" appear as fast as mushrooms after rain, many of them do not even know how a true Mastino should look, breed only because a female comes in heat with no primary knowledge). Many aka "Neapolitan Mastiff Breeders" have never stepped on the dog show ground to exhibit (as they claim) their "TOP Quality", CHampion Bloodlined dogs and advertise their puppies and dogs for sale as SHOW and Breeding quality while they are indeed just pets and substandard dogs. Our dogs are expensive, `cause we do not mill them, we breed females after 2 yrs old and reasonably (not over-breeding any) and some of our girls go to labor once per a life-time and then spayed. We prefer to stay as close as the FCI ENCI Neapolitan Mastiff Standard requires: do not breed "sharpei"- or monsterous looking dogs. "Too much" on a dog is as incorrect as "not enough". You have to understand the Breed Standard and follow it without making a harm. We strive to breed for correctness, functionality and health! We pay an attention to everything (from the nose to the very tail), we do not jump for "heads" loosing rear angulations, functionality or life longivity. We do not breed females who are aggressive to their pups, incapable to nurse/feed pups, or do not have milk. Our puppies suck moms (not bottle-fed - not any synthetic formula could possibly replace and be valuable as much as natural mom`s milk at start ... |
then females-offsprings will have absolutely the same problem with their pups and so on. If such a case happens then the pup cannot and should not be declared as a show/ bred potential and is INDEED only a pet (companion) and should go with a spay/neuter contract... though i see many sites where people loud and proudly advertise about their SHOW / BRED QUALITY bottle-fed from day 1 puppies out of the dam of 13 months old or less (or purposely not mentioned the dam`s age even in pedigree info & how many litter she has already whelped)!!! We do not try to save anyhow on dogs/pups nutrition (complex-raw, cooked meat/chicken and dry), `cause it is very important for pups in future and it plays a huge role for a dog health and life span though at first look all pups at any seller look cute and no a big difference can be seen, you`ll learn about the difference much much later when your dog will live 10 + years or gone by 2-4. We do health screen for our stock, no one yet had demodex and lymphatic problems; skin on our dogs (chins & their elbows) is perfectly clean and hair-roots are not damaged; and they are all inside living. We scan all buyers as much as we possibly can as we care where our dogs go and what kind of life will have. Also you should remember that the Neapolitan Mastiff is big and not for everyone. Expenses are high and buying a puppy is just a beggining of all expenses. (Hopefully I will find time and will add more info or articles (info pages)). Should think a few times more before you THINK you are ready to take responsibility for someone`s life, these dogs are very sensitive to be re-homed, getting "luggage" from your mistakes a dog could become handful (uncontrollable, with serious behavior issues) and will be put down later. Please, think once more before you get one without realizing what you get yourself involved into, so later your dog will not end up on the street or in shelter. |
